Welcome to Red Rock Veterinary Health, a comprehensive and full service veterinary hospital serving Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas from Woodland Park to Pueblo and Denver. Our services range from urgent care, wellness vaccinations, allergy therapy, dental/soft tissue surgery and onsite consultations with mobile internal medicine and surgical specialists. Founded by Dr. Robbie Unsell BVetMed MRCVS Elite FFCP-V and his partner Dr. Sharon Kuca BVetMed MRCVS MS FFCP, our hospital is driven by a profound commitment to animal welfare. Our vision stems from a passion to provide personal, high-quality, and Fear Free® veterinary care ensuring that your pet has our exceptional and undivided attention. Dr. Unsell and Dr. Kuca have a deep belief that fear, stress, anxiety, or aggression should never be a barrier to veterinary care.

Our hospital has been meticulously designed with your pet’s senses in mind to provide veterinary care in a way that minimizes fear and stress. Our Fear Free® approach includes separate cat & dog wings of the hospital, a personalized plan for each pet’s hospital visit, a dynamic emotional medical record, non-slip and sound reductive surfaces, a non-chaotic lobby, low stress animal restraint, positive reinforcement, and cooperative care. Our hope is to inspire our client’s and patient’s trust to make veterinary healthcare less scary and more accessible.
Red Rock Veterinary Health is a locally owned and non-corporate hospital—a growing rarity in veterinary medicine—and the last of its kind on the westside of Colorado Springs. We support local businesses in an attempt to weave a fabric of care that extends beyond our hospital walls. We are dedicated to supporting our local humane society, independent rescues, local animal groomers, trainers, boarders, pet supply stores, and engage in our own charitable efforts to contribute to our community’s wellbeing.
